Tournaments & Golf Events
While the pro shop always works hard to make sure our members are able to play golf whenever they want, we also offer a full, exciting men's and women's tournament schedule each year. Offerings each year include (but are not limited to):
- Member-Guest and Member-Member Events
- Fun, themed, 9-hole weekend events, often with food and drink specials
- Governor's Cup & President's Cup Matches
- A long-standing, multi-day Men's Member-Guest event
- An annual Women's Member-Guest event that has raised thousands of dollars for charitable causes
- A season-long Ladies' League and Men's League
2021 Tournament Schedule
Saturday May 1 Spring Alternate shot
Tee Times a.m. – 18 holes. Entry $30 per player. Both golfers on a team hit drives, the best ball is selected to play out the rest of the hole, the golfer whose drive was not chosen hits the second shot, and continue to alternate shots into the hole.
Sunday May 16 Member – Member – Member
Tee Times a.m. - 18 Holes. Entry $50 per player – 2 Best Ball of 3 Each player plays their own ball and 2 scores per hole is counted. - Net 90% handicap will be used for the event
Friday May 21 President’s and Governor’s Cup Matches begin.
Entry $25 per player President’s Cup Individual Match Play (90% handicap) the field is limited to the first 64 players to sign up. The field will be seeded based on handicap index at May 15th revision. Last year’s Champion will have the #1 seed. Eddie Dickhaut. Governor’s Cup Two Person (Team) Match Play (80% handicap) The field is limited to the first 32 teams to sign up. The field will be seeded based on handicap index at May 20th revision. Tuesday May 25 Men’s league opening scramble and banquet
Shotgun 4:30p.m. League play 3-5:30 p.m. Team and Individual Match Play with weekly gross and net sweeps. Twilight League Team selection takes place on May 18th… and our “Meet-Your-Team” Scramble and Banquet happens May 25th! We would ask that all those who are interested in playing in the league as regular players, or those looking to play as substitutes, to return this complete entry form by May 14th to allow time to put together league schedules, rules of play and player rosters for all league members.

1p.m. shotgun - 18 holes – Entry $100 per player. 1 Best Ball of 4 - Each player plays their own ball and 1 score per hole is counted Gross and Net (80% Handicap).
Saturday June 5 One Day Member - Member
Tee Times a.m. 18 holes – Entry $50 per player. 1 Best Ball of 2 - Each player plays their own ball and 1 score per hole is counted Net (90 % handicap)

Thursday – Saturday July 8-10 Member – Guest
Shotgun a.m. Entry $650 per team. MATCH PLAY• 3 Nine hole matches on Friday. 2 Nine hole matches on Saturday.• One match against each team in your flight.• Net (80% handicap).Teams will earn points in match play as follows:• One net better ball of the two will be used.• All matches are worth 9 points.• One point for every hole a team wins.• Half a point for every hole a team ties. The team with the most point in their Flight after the completion of all five matches will be flight champion and will participate in the champions’ shootout. The team with the Highest point total out of all flights that do not win their flight will be designated the “WILD CARD” team and will also participate in the shootout.
Sunday July 25 Chapman Championship
Tee Times p.m. 18 holes – Entry $50 per player. Modified Alternate Shot between mixed couples. Each player tees off, plays each other’s tee-shot, pick the better shot, and then alternate shots from there until the ball is holed.
Saturday – Sunday July 31- August 1 Club Championship
Tee Times a.m. 36 holes – Entry $40 per player. Individual Stroke play. The event will have 3 Flights: Championship Flight (Modified Blue Tees HDCP 0-9), Flight 1 (Green Tees HDCP 10-18), and Flight 2 (Green Tees HDCP 19 & Higher). Any Player is eligible to compete in the Championship flight. The Club Champion will have the lowest 36-Hole gross score. Gross and Net prizes will be awarded in each flight.
Saturday – Sunday August 14-15 2 Day Member - Member
Tee Times a.m. 36 holes Entry $65 per player. 1 Best Ball of 2. Each player plays their own ball and 1 score per hole is counted Net (80% handicap). All entrants must have a minimum of 10 rounds played at Falmouth in the current year by August 10, 2021. Maximum handicap change is 2 unless you have played 20 rounds at Falmouth and is subject to review by the Tournament Committee. No professional golfers and no preferred staring times will be allowed. Player dinner on Thursday August 12, 2021 mandatory attendance.
Sunday - August 22 Senior Club Championship
Tee Times a.m. 18 holes – Entry $30 per player. Individual Stroke play. Open to all Senior Members age 50 and above. Super Senior age 70 and above. The Senior Club Champion will have the lowest 18-Hole gross score. Gross and Net prizes will be awarded in each flight.
Thursday - September 9 Fall Member Guest
12 p.m. shotgun - 18 holes – Entry $100 per player. 1 Best Ball of 2 Each player plays their own ball and 1 score per hole is counted Gross and Net (90% Handicap).
Saturday – Sunday September 11-12 Ryder Cup
Tee Times a.m. 36 holes – Entry $45 per player. 2-player Team Pick your own partner (Men’s combined team course handicap for the Blue Tees must be 15 or higher) There will be four different formats for the event. 1st Nine – Scramble -35% hdcp A player, 15% hdcp B player. 2nd Nine – Pinehurst (Chapman Scotch)-60% hdcp A player, 40% hdcp B player. 3rd Nine – Better Ball - 90% hdcp. 4th Nine – True Alternate Shot – 50% team hdcp
Saturday September 25 Two man Green, Blue, and Gold Championship
Tee Times a.m. Entry $50 per player 27 holes 1 Best Ball of 2. Each player plays their own ball and 1 score per hole is counted Gross and Net (90% Handicap). 1st nine holes played from the Green Tees, 2nd nine holes played from the Blue Tees and 3rd nine holes played from the Gold Tees.
End of Outdoor Season
Regular League Season concludes-- prizes, awards and closing banquet (included as part of entry fee)! Fall Pickup Leagues begin shortly thereafter.
