The Tennis Program at Falmouth Country Club: Outstanding by Tradition.

Over the years, Falmouth Country Club has earned its reputation as “Maine’s Premier Competitive Venue.” Whether you’re on the championship 18 hole golf course or one of the four Har-Tru tennis courts, it’s easy to understand why. Both Golf and Social Membership categories include access to and use of the tennis complex (as well as pool, fitness, and dining). Tennis is a superb way to get out, stay fit, and have fun. Our program is among the best offered by a private club in Maine. Membership at the club makes you part of a special group—it makes you part of the family.

Those who love the game of tennis love what Falmouth Country Club has to offer. Har-Tru tennis courts. Wimbledon-style grass courts (currently in development). Fun events and exciting play.

Our head professional, Doug Bearce, is the heart of the tennis program at FCC. He is a legendary player, an exceptional teacher, and a beloved figure among the Southern Maine tennis community. For many who have been playing for a long time in Maine, Doug is a household name. We are very fortunate to have him as part of the tennis experience at Falmouth.

The Club caters to all levels of a tennis player—from the very experienced to those who have always wanted to learn the game and are ready to start now. Men, Women, and Juniors all have a place in the Falmouth Country Club tennis program, whether participating in a lively game of triples, an exciting Club Championship, a private lesson, a tennis clinic, or as part of our summer camp program, Camp FCC.
